What goes into making an episode
What goes into making an episode?
Each Lunch Club episode is 1 hour long but how is each episode made?
Everything starts with a team meeting to map the episode out.
Next, we review current literature to ensure we are as updated as possible when we do the live episode.
Once the presentation is written it is time to do a run-through of the practical, getting the camera angles right and making sure we have everything ready for the practical treatment.
Then we are ready to go live!
So, how is a lunch club episode made, and what happens behind the scenes? There is a set process that we go through when creating a live lunch club episode.
Topic Selection
The NK Active team gathers to choose a topic based on suggestions received.Â
Planning
After selecting a topic, the team plans the episode’s structure, including presentation, practical elements, camera angles, and equipment.
Content Preparation
The team conducts a literature review to ensure the information presented is current and accurate.
Rehearsal
A physical run-through is conducted to ensure all equipment is ready and the episode will run smoothly.
Live Episode and Recording
The episode is broadcast live and then recorded for upload to Heartbeat.
